On Friday 28th. September Wilson Stuart School really got behind the Macmillan “World’s Biggest Coffee morning”. With very generous contributions of delicious cakes from Parents and Staff, the school Hall and Community Room became two “Cafes extraordinaire”. Teacher Dave Jackson, and school staff Kathy Byrne, Shelagh Lee, Jo-Anne Clement, Jennie Handy amongst others, worked really hard all morning to present and serve a fantastic array of cakes and biscuits to Guests, Parents, Students and Staff. The event was another example of the great team-work and commitment of the Wilson Stuart School community. Everyone made donations (which included lots of our students’ pocket money) and the fantastic sum of £425 was raised for the MacMillan Cancer Charity. Brilliant and well-done!
